  • What are the performance expectations?
    • In your first 90 days of work, you will meet weekly with a member of our management and receive coaching and training to establish a training pathway for your career. After that, we have monthly team meetings, in-salon training, quarterly reviews and weekly goal updates. 
  • Does the salon have goals?
    • Absolutely! Our goal as a salon is reflective in our mission and culture statement. Our greatest sense of accomplishment is seeing our team members grow and be successful. If each team member is growing, then our salon is also growing. 
  • What is the training program like?
    • We utilize Aveda Pure Pro training courses and the Learn Aveda training program. “Learn Aveda offers a technical program to new artists as they progress towards their next level of mastery.” Allure offers hands-on in-house learning based upon each employee’s needs. We also host or attend team training events yearly. 
  • How flexible is the schedule?
    • Positions are available part to full time. We like our team to have a good balance between work and personal life. Days off are available upon hire and increase with each year of service. In order to best accommodate our guests, we require team members to work some evenings and Saturdays. 
  • What is the time off policy?

  • What is the dress code?
    • Our dress code is business casual. Our team wears black, white and grey apparel to maintain a professional, unified look. 
  • What is the team culture like? 
    • We are a team of inclusive, creative individuals who are passionate about making our clients look and feel their best. Education is important to us and we are always looking for new ways to improve our performance. We are very supportive of each other and love to celebrate personal and professional milestones. 
  • How much will I start out earning? 
    • Entry-level pay is based on experience and level of expertise. We offer an hourly or commission pathway for service providers. We pay above industry standards and would love to share our career growth plan with you. 
  • What services does the salon provide?
    • Our salon offers hair color, hair extensions, highlighting, perms, smoothing treatments, brow and lash enhancements, haircuts and more. Our spa offers various massages, facials, and hair removal services. 
  • What hair color line does the salon use?
    • We exclusively use Aveda vegan permanent, demi-permanent and lightening color lines. 
  • What product line does the salon retail?
    • We exclusively carry Aveda vegan hair, body and skincare products. 
  • What does the interview process look like?
    • Step 1: Fill out an online application. Attach a resume if you have one. 
    • Step 2: Phone interview to answer any initial questions. 
    • Step 3: An invitation to shadow and tour the salon and spa, followed by an informal get-to-know-you meeting. 
    • Step 4: Schedule a model to showcase your talent. 
    • Step 5: Reference check, job decision and possible offer.
